Celcom goes for Mobile Television Service

Celcom‘ subsidiary Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd formalised a joint collaboration with ROK TV, a United Kingdom-based mobile entertainment specialist, to offer mobile television service.

This new service with about 138 channels is expected to be available to all its GPRS and 3G customers around August this year.

Currently only Celcom 3G customers has the option to watch TV3,NTV7 and TV8 on their 3G mobile phone. Celcom is still solving the issues of TV programs which local TV stations does not own the license/copyright for Celcom to air it.
