Telekom’s Unit to offer Fibre to the Home service

Telekom Malaysia’s unit Telekom Research & Development Sdn Bhd (TMR&D) will be offering its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) solution next year.

According to them, the deployment cost can be reduced up to 30%. Does this mean we can have cheaper high speed internet service?

The solution will provide better services and higher speed for broadband services compared to copper wires” said its Chief Executive Officer Dr Shahruddin Muslimin.

“We will initially introduce the services in places like the Klang Valley, Johor Baharu and Penang”
