My opinion on price? Its expensive, especially when you need to pay upfront (RM300) to register for the broadband plus modem when I can buy a Celcom Vodafone modem at RM333 (plus a 12 months contract). I also think that the Explore and Extreme packages are overpriced.

While the existing players are competing on speed, DiGi is competing on Megabyte. An average speed on DiGi 3G Broadband is about 700Kbps, something that DiGi promise as they don’t use the word “up to….”, if you notice.

And when you use more than the monthly data cap, DiGi will charge you for it, at least you still get the same speed while Celcom and Maxis will reduce your Internet speed once you reach their monthly data cap. As for DiGi, the more their customers use 3G broadband, they will have more money to upgrade the bandwidth and this should be a win-win situation. I hope they will launch an online bandwidth meter to show how much data has been consumed by their broadband customer within the month.

My only advice is that you should go for DiGi 3G Broadband if you require quality of service especially when it comes to speed but don’t expect it to be mobile since DiGi still has a long way to go when it comes to 3G coverage.

    have an advice to all out there who wish to subscribe to digi broadband…. Avoid it at all cost!!

    I subscribed the service about three months ago. First month was good. Got HSDPA signal most of the time and very few disconnect.

    Now 95% of the time cannot get HSDPA signal. Always downgrade my connection to EDGE. I don't mind that if EDGE can give me 100KBPS download speed but digi EDGE is even slower that 56K modem! Even google search page also take ages to load! Somemore keep on disconnecting like nobody business!

    My area is Pusat Bandar Puchong.

    I was a digi supporter until now. Go to hell digi. Broadband done right my foot!

    I made up my mind to terminate this useless service. My brother's U mobile works like a charm. I will subscribe U mobile after I terminate digi. Very disappointed with them.

    broadband telah dibatalkan sejak 4 bulan ,baki wang janji dibayar balik
    sehingga sekarang belum ada, lagi mahu masa 1 bulan lagi .DIGI PENIPU CAKAP TAK SAMA BUAT

       Aku pun kes same je..ada para di dalam iklan “not refundable bla bla bla…” Aku dah rugi rm200 lagi sebab lepas activation line kali kedua(BACA BETUL-BETUL ->KALI KEDUA)  lebih 3 hari still tak jalan. Kes ini terjadi  september 2010. Report kat call centre digi diaorg buat bodo saja. Kes tahun 2007 bayar pakai  maybank2u online tapi tak detect. duit hangus. Call maybank dia tolak ke Digi. Call digi diaorg ckp itu maybank punya pasal. CB la digi

    now digi has limited edition prepaid digi broadband, RM169 or the modem (including RM10 top up); RM2 per day. Can top up using normal digi prepaid card/ticket/pin.
    I never have problem with it so far.

    damn ! kenapa digi broadband prepaid ni makin lama makin tidak boleh pakai langsung. dulu 5 hari rm10 sekarang 2 hari rm 10. dulu kuota 3gigs dalam 5 hari dan sekarang kalau da pakai lebih 100mb dlm beberapa jam saja mesej da sampai untuk memberitahu yang kelajuan untuk melangg ani cuma tingal 128kbps saja ! baru download satu lagu 3.2mb saja mengambil masa 10 minit. apa semua ni ! dulu tak macam ni ! mungkin bukan saya seorang saja yang mengalami masalah ini. sungguh mengecewakan. saya bernekad untuk bertukar ke lain rangkaian hujung bulan ini kalau digi tidak membuat apa-apa perubahan

    my daughter bought the broadband modem for rm150.The reload card for rm100 for 3 months use.After the second reload had expired was told this plan phase off the 3gc. now the new plan so expensive we senior citizens cant afford that is why we use broadband……………………………………digi made millions in profit why do you keep increasing the price.?now its 50rm for 30 days.my daughter not buying the card anymore for me and you lose a customer.

    Digi is highly unethical, it never fails to raise my blood pressure each time I’m back in Malaysia.
    1. Spams me with nonstop commercials daily and nightly when I sleep!
    2. Helpline is filled with hidden commercials, operator press #1, then -commercial- service press 2 -commercial-
    bla bla till finally operator on 4th or 5th try. Wow..
    3. Promotions filled with hidden traps” free 100mb internet for 2 days! I used it, it charged me RM8 instead, due
    to over quota…. oh duh, I wasn’t informed of that! To unsubscribe press 126 1 1 1 1 or sth, I did, it SUBSCRIBED
    a $3 net instead!!! And subject to autorenewal! Wow…
    4. Thought fine, so I disable autorenewal on my old card, OH DISABLED, due to expired, pls topup. Fine.. topping up RM30
    for a months net… it auto renews RM3 immediately!!! whether I like it or not!!!Therefore I’m left with RM27, unable to subscribe to RM30.
    When Called helpline this was their reply:
    “If I “I’m sorry sir, we cannot refund, if I help, I will be penalised!” so Digi is so anal about helping customers? The customer
    didn’t give a hoot in paying RM30, but Digi will penalise its workers for refunding an AUTORENEWAL the customer doesn’t NEED? Told the customer
    svc person I never ask for autorenewal and I haven’t even used it yet, can I at least get a refund? “I”m sorry sir, we cannot refund you on
    something you’ve agreed upon”. Have I agreed for it to be autorenewed or Digi simple forced it onto customers throats?!?!
    Nvm, I transfer RM3 to my $27 account making it $30… it DEDUCTS 70cents from it making it 2.30!!! And further deduct 0.30 to the receiver account wow!!!
    Again Digi eat my $1 just for transferring $3!!!! And ended up not $30, so I did it for 2nd time, thus losing RM2 on the fly only made my account $30
    thus enabling the $30/mth 3g 600mb. What is 600mb? Just a few youtube movies!!! 1-2days usage!! then it restricts my speed to 62K or something
    but it’s actually highly volatile and unstable from 0.1k-6k only!!!! Keep spamming sms to me asking me to pay more surf more. I can hardly browse pics, it’s
    not even running on 60k, they purposely made it difficult for users, as to subscribe more $$$ to them again and again. All in all
    I’ve always wasted tons of $ on Digi, keep digging and digging and customer service is useless, Digi don’t give a HOOT on cheating customers
    and I can vouch on that!! No more digi for me but I do sincerely hope they get penalized by an honest government body someday.
