DiGi to offer ZTE USB Modems
DiGi will soon offer ZTE USB modems for use on its HSPA network, thanks to the deal between ZTE and Telenor.
Telecoms equipment supplier ZTE Corporation (HK:073) announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Norway’s Telenor Group for the supply of UMTS/HSPA and EDGE USB modems.

The company said that the one-year agreement is expected to involve delivery of up to two million units. No indication was given of the value of the contract. Telenor, a Scandinavian communications, IT and media company, operates in 13 countries including Denmark, Hungary, Malaysia, Norway, Pakistan, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.
A ZTE spokesperson said that the contract shows that its products are competitive and they expect the contract to strengthen its position in the market. -Source
I hope ZTE will not do the same mistake again that it did last year with Telenor.
