DiGi to offer iPhone 3G & iPhone 3GS

In a short media statement to the press, DiGi said that it has reached an agreement with Apple to bring iPhone to Malaysia in the coming months.

DiGi has setup a webpage at http://www.digi.com.my/iphone/. According to the FAQ, DiGi said the iPhone will launched by the the 1st half of 2010, which is by April 2010 (Correction: By the end of June 2010).

Pre-booking should be available soon on the DiGi website.

    BrAvo DiGi and "patut" Maxis to lost exclusiveness, Maxis charge damn high…I am sure DiGi will launch a very attractive packages as rtheir Blackberry service offer is half of what Celcom and Maxis charge!Btw, y u have take down all yr TM HSBB posting?

    about time.. if digi can beat Maxis on the pricing then a lot of potential new iphone buyers will migrate to digi hahaha.btw by first half of 2010 means digi has time until end of june. (by end of april means by end of quarter one 2010)

    now Celcom in dilemma, should Celcom join the race too or stay focus on Blackberry? last time Celcom in talks with Apple but both can't agreed on certain thing, so Celcom didn't bother to offer iphone anymore. now, i think its not a good move and wrong strategy. although i personally don't like iphone, but due to market demand (i still wonder why iphone so success), Celcom must re-consider to sell iphone back. no choice.
