Maxis to open up network for content developers

According to a reliable source(I can’t mention the name), Maxis is in the midst of opening up their network(API). This would allow content & application developers to access the Maxis network up to a certain level using API.

This is wonderful because a direct access into the Maxis network would allow a number of services to be offered, for example location based service, Internet-based mobile service and more.

Expecting this to take place within next few month. Can’t wait for this Maxis!
