BlackBerry OS 6 now official

As reported earlier, the Blackberry OS 6 is now official and it has been announced at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium(WES2010) by RIM’s CEO Mike Lazaridis.

There still no detailed features, but some of the new improvements include the new HTML5-capable web browser, multi-touch support, new homescreen, new graphics, favorites, tab switching and much more.

The Blackberry OS 6 should be out sometime in Q3 and some old Blackberries will be able to upgrade to the new OS, however the list of device is still not available yet.
