DiGi Twitter SMS

DiGi recently launched a Twitter SMS service, the third telco to do so after Maxis & Celcom.

The company is charging RM1 for unlimited alert messages, however customers must pay RM0.10 per SMS to send a Tweet or use other Twitter features. Take note that none of the telcos in Malaysia are offering a complete Twitter service via SMS.

For an example, you can’t receive a Direct Message via DiGi Twitter SMS. Read the FAQ.

I recommend users to opt for an unlimited data plan and get a smartphone to make full use of Twitter(application).

    Celcom do have Twitter SMS service. RM1/week unlimited both ways. Not sure if it is complete or not, though.

    Maxis & TuneTalk are offering the Complete Twitter SMS service for few months now. Support all Twitter keywords including Direct message.
