Malaysia ranks 102 out of 152 in terms of Broadband Speed
According to a speedtest report compiled using over millions of results collected from Speedtest.net, Malaysia ranked a poor 102 out of 152 when it comes to download speeds.
The speedtest results was released by Ookla, the company behind the popular Speedtest.net and Pingtest.net.
Malaysia ranks in the 102nd place. Results were obtained by analyzing test data between Apr 24, 2010 and May 24, 2010. Tests from 1,152,238 unique IPs was collected and 473,541 results are used, placing Malaysia at the 102nd place.
The average upload speed is 0.68Mbps, taken from 1,152,238 unique IPs and 473,541 results between Apr 24, 2010 and May 24, 2010.
South Korea leads the results with an average 34.14Mbps download speeds followed by Latvia(24.29Mbps) and Republic of Moldova(21.37Mbps). Japan is on the fourth place with average download speed of 20.29Mbps and US is on the 26th place with an average download speed of 10.16Mbps.
