No Skype for Windows Phone 7

The world’s popular VoIP service, Skype has just revealed that it does not have any development plans to bring its service to Windows Phone 7.

Instead,Skype says that they’re focusing on projects for the iPhone, iPad  and Android-powered mobile devices.

In February, Skype said that it has chosen to withdraw Skype Lite and Skype for Windows Mobile because it wants to “offer our new customers an improved mobile experience – much like the version that has proved so popular on the iPhone, and which is now available on Symbian phones.”

Windows Phone 7 users will have to depend on third party applications such as Fring if they want Skype on their phone.
