TV service?! Best way to kill their network.

Kugan, there is no way that YTL can come in with all this content, when TM Hypp TV has been trying to get their hands on it for the longest time. Astro are really protecting their base of content offering, and at the end of the day its just a OTT STB that has no premium content but only internet available content customized for the big screen experience.

Everyone in the business knows these international players from US and UK, has the “colonial” or “imperialist” attitude of charging direct conversions of their USD and UKpound equivalent of their price to subscribe or price per VOD – so good luck…

That’s what they get for hiring “consultants” from US and UK to take on these big roles in YTL ….. Consultants sell whatever from where they come from. Let’s see how they get the SLA up with Sezmi (it will cost a bomb because they are not here or they have to send more consultants here) or the tech support they need from US. At least TM made a good choice by working with a local IPTV partner to customize the platform.

If you look at YTL’s track record, I really don’t think that they would be so stupid! Surely they will leverage on Sezmi to bring all the best US content to Malaysia. With the world’s first wireless quad-play you’re not going to get anything better any where else

      Malaysia boleh!
