[Apps] Facebook for iPad
Facebook for iPad is now available in the iOS App Store after more than a year in the making and some controversy over its delay. The official app looks much like the version that leaked earlier.
Via the new Facebook iPad app, users can scroll through their News Feed, or simply swipe to zoom through photo albums and pinch a single picture to zoom in for a closer look.
Messages and notifications appear at the top of the screen, while applications, games and lists live in the left-hand rail, just like the desktop version of Facebook. Users can also use Facebook Chats on the iPad, and watch high-resolution videos, record video and more.
The app does offer a few new features. Users can play their favorite Facebook games in full-screen mode. Games from EA, Zynga and more will support additional features such as Facebook Credits.
