DiGi Delivers iPhone 4S before Dec 16

There were reports on some websites/blogs that DiGi actually delivered the iPhone 4S today. Below is a picture that one of our reader sent us:

If you look closely in the picture, the privilege card states “iPhone 4S Black 32GB GSM”. The problem here is, Apple has set the iPhone 4S Malaysia launch/availability on December 16 but DiGi has already delivered the latest iPhone today(Dec 15).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We checked with one of our source in Apple and it appears that DiGi might have broke the rules it signed with Apple. Since customers can now purchase the DiGi iPhone 4S online, we are guessing that GDexFedex probably delivered the iPhone 4S ahead of schedule. Good job GDex!

It is not the 1st time DiGi has upset Apple. In the past, it associated iPhone with animal(“kambing”) and promoted the white iPhone 4 before it was announced by Apple. We believe Apple took action against DiGi but we are not sure what are the punishment this time if DiGi is found to be guilty. Apple has a strict guideline on how Telcos can promote the iPhone.

We know two Telcos will be really upset with DiGi, if this is found to be true.

We would like to thank the reader who sent us this and will be updating more on this.

apple/iphone’s control freak ghost protocol may hv contributed to its successful marketing mystique aka snob appeal. Well done apple !

Heard that the white color iP4s screen tends to more warm (yellowish) and the Black color iP4s screen looks more cool (bluewish), anyone can compare both?

Fedex? Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow by GDEx, not Fedex

I have forwarded your postings to FedEx legal dept. Suggest you correct your statement above else you will be hearing from them.

I tried activating my micro sim card from DiGi, and they gave me excuses like there is a problem with my number profile so my new sim card can only be used after 3-5 days later and no promises. It’s like what?

      It should take minutes…

They said it’s because I’m currently already a iDiGi user and they have some problem with their system, and they need to take 3-5 days to look into the problem in detail. Only by then I will be able to activate my sim card.

I think you should demand that your SIM gets activated. The standard average waiting time is 24-hours. They must activate your line.
