TIME introduced fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) to the Malaysian market in early 2010, using fibre optic technology.

“Today, we are bringing Malaysia up to speed,” said Afzal. “We’re raising the bar for Malaysia’s Internet service – it puts us at least on par with – or better than – many developed countries around the world.”

The  TIME Fibre 100Mbps Home Broadband service is available at very limited areas such as KLCC/Golden Triangle area, Mont Kiara/Sri Hartamas areas and Bangsar as well as in Georgetown on Penang island.

100,000 users only within Klang Valley & Georgetown? When will it reaches the rest of us? Is the technology gonna be promoted & grow or it is just a niche market?

Where I am, only half hr to KL. Still no fibre! They forget that about the 2 millions that stay outside and commute to KL.
