Taiwan based HTC Corp which makes smartphones that runs on the Google Anfroid platform is filing a patent complaint against Apple Inc., asking the International Trade Commission to ban U.S. sales of iPhones, iPads and iPods. Due to the high demand in the US, Apple is delaying the international launch of the iPad, by a month(in May 2010). So far, Apple claims that it has already delivered 500,000 iPads, with a large number of pre-order pending, to be delivered by the end of this month.
Despite being in Beta (with over 100 new features), the iPhone OS 4.0 is pretty steady and performing well already. The video below gives a brief overview of the features introduced by the iPhone OS 4.0 and performance.
Apple is working on an upcoming iPhone called HD. The new device will have a second camera for video call, and it will run on the iPhone 4.0 OS. According to Engadget, the fourth-gen iPhone is scheduled for release on June 22.
