5 billion mobile subscriptions wordwide

The world had 4 billion mobile subscriptions in February 2009 but today(16 months later), the number added 1 billion- we now have 5 billion mobile subscriptions. 500 million of it are 3G subscriptions.

Celcom WCDMA 900Mhz Base Stations up and running

I’m not very sure if this is a trial license or a commercial license, but Celcom appears to have some 50 sites running WCDMA 900Mhz. To test it, you need a 3G phone that supports WCDMA 900Mhz. Below are some of the sites name (I have their coordinates but can’t disclose here):
