Ericsson & Telstra demonstrate 1Gbps capability via LTE-Advanced network


Ericsson and Telstra (Australia) announced the world’s first demonstration of 1 Gbps capability with five carrier LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation integrated on a live end-to-end mobile network. Ericsson: 7.2 billion mobile subscriptions in Q1 2015, forecast 9.2 billion in 2020

Findings from the latest edition of the Ericsson Mobility Report, published early this month (June), show the total number of mobile subscriptions in Q1 2015 was around 7.2 billion, including 108 million new subscriptions.
