Time in final stage of tying up with a foreign company

Referring to my previous article “What is happening to Time dotCom?“, they are currently in final stages of tying up with a foreign company to offer its broadband services abroad.

The article from Theedgedaily quoted Time dotCom managing director Datuk Baharum Salleh as saying:

“Rather than set up presence and then promote and sell later, we are doing this all in one go; we have been requested to go to places like Angola and Sudan by local MNCs. This is where we bring in a partner”

“We perform a total network folder for our clients in the global arena, with whatever services they need – be it through voice, data and so on – through partnership

The article also quoted “He also denied reports that DiGi.Com Bhd was in talks to merge with TdC. “DiGi is worth over RM20 now, while we are only 80 sen, we would totally be absorbed by DiGi if that happens

Time plans to launch 3G soon and I hope it does not end up like here.
