- SingTel Optus (Australia)
- Taiwan Mobile (Taiwan)
- Telkomsel (Indonesia)
You are eligible to subscribe flat mobile data roaming packages that could save your Maxis phone bill if you require mobile internet while you’re outside Malaysia.
Customers have a choice to subscribe to the monthly plan at US$15 for 5MB, US$30 for 15MB or US$60 for 40MB. There is also a weekly plan at US$12.50 for 5MB. These option has been available few months back, more info here.
To subscribe, call Maxis customer service before you leave the country.
Sadly, all of us still pay high roaming call chargers. I wonder why is the Bridge Alliance focusing on data roaming rather on voice call roaming since there are more demand on cheaper call chargers while roaming. Not only that, we also need to pay for incoming calls if we are outside Malaysia.
The Bridge Alliance recently launched a merchant service(e-voucher). Updates soon on http://www.mobileworld.com.my/
