I have heard that Celcom is testing IPTV on its 3G network.
The rumor says that the test is at a very early stage and only certain people in Celcom knows about it.
As far as I know, IPTV requires high bandwidth to work. Even Malaysian IPTV provider like Yoonic is having difficulties to offer high definition video in Malaysia, thanks to our so called “broadband” service.
However I found some articles here and here that says IPTV is possible on 3G.
Whether it is true or not that Celcom is working on IPTV, I don’t think they will offer it this year, but if they do, that will be great !!!
