Since mid-October last year, mobile phone users in this country were given the option to switch mobile operator while they get to keep their favourite mobile number.
Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is now about 4 months old in Malaysia. How many of you have switched mobile operators?
An analysis told me that MNP will be quiet after 6 months, while someone from the telco told me that people will port their numbers to “try out” another mobile operator and eventually, they will come back to the original operator.
