P1 will soon launch a new D series modem to replace the current customer premises equipement (CPE) -DS 300.
The new fixed WiMAX modem(D Series) will include video surveillance & VoIP capability.
You can just plug in a normal phone line into this modem and make calls to any phone number in Malaysia. It is believed that P1 is the first ISP to have VoIP interconnection with all operators in this country. In other words, you can use their 015 number to call any numbers in this country including operators like Maxis, Celcom, DiGi and Telekom Malaysia.
My resources points out that P1 is using the VoIP solution from Acme Packet, a multinational company with more than 600+ customers such as British Telecom, Telenor, and Vodafone.
