Remember the day when Celcom left customer’s in the dark without mobile service? Well, the problem actually went on for the next 2 days.
Celcom is offering 50% call rates just for today for both postpaid & prepaid. Don’t get too excited about it because the 50% rate is only applicable when calling within the network(to another Celcom number).
It is a shame that Celcom did not make any direct communications with their customers(example, send SMS) to inform them about this half rate calls. The only thing they did was to put a banner on their heavy loading flash website. Maybe we should get Celcom to pay our Internet bill instead.
Personally, I think Celcom should have compensated customers. For an example rebate on access fee for postpaid customer since they are paying to access the Celcom network. As for prepaid, they should give out free airtime when customers top up their account. If Celcom think that giving half rate on voice for one day could bring back customer loyalty then they are wrong.
P.s: I know a couple number of people who has port out from Celcom for the past one week, how about you?
