In partnership with MAAKL Mutual, Celcom has launched MHO Mobile Blackberry version, a unit trust investment monitoring tool which is now available to MAAKL’s clients and its more than 1,000 unit trust advisers.

Kuala Lumpur, 29 April 2010 – MAAKL (pronounced as ‘mac kle’) Mutual and Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad] jointly launched the MHO Mobile Blackberry version, empowering MAAKL’s unit trust advisers and clients to monitor the performance of their unit trust investments via their Blackberry smartphones, even when they are on the go, as long as they are connected online.
Mr. Wong Boon Choy, CEO of MAAKL, officiated the launch of its proprietary and the first of its kind unit trust investment monitoring tool in Malaysia together with En. Farid Yunus, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Services of Celcom Axiata Berhad yesterday.
According to Mr. Wong, Celcom is the partner of choice for the launch of MHO Mobile on BlackBerry as Celcom has the largest number of BlackBerry users in Malaysia. MAAKL is confident it will be able to leverage on Celcom’s innovative and effective marketing of BlackBerry among Malaysians to expand the use of MHO Mobile to new customers and markets.
