Palm Inc., the PDA and smartphone maker that has been around since the 90′ is believed to be up for sale.
Some of the big names that is believed to be making the bid include- HTC and Lenovo while Dell is rumoured to have backed out.
Palm has been able to make a comeback with the Palm Pre and Pixi, but it has been slow in making these smartphones available in more countries although there has been lots of demand.
According to Bloomberg, Palm is working with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Frank Quattrone’s Qatalyst Partners to find a buyer.
