On its HSBB page, Maxis posted a FAQ containing some details about its upcoming HSBB service.
At the moment, the service is being trialled out by a number of users out there and Maxis is planning to launch it sometime this year.
In the FAQ, Maxis said that its High Speed Internet service will offer packages starting from 6Mbps up to 24Mbps.
However the most interesting part is that while the Maxis HSBB service has a Fair Usage Policy(FUP), users will be imposed a fee if they choose to opt out from it and enjoy a “true broadband service”.
Also I am wondering who is Maxis referring to when it claims that the IPTV will not have problems during “thunder storms”.
