What would we do without our cellular mobile phones? Like others elsewhere, we Malaysians have come to depend on our cellular mobile phones in our everyday communications related to our work or our personal lives and most of us would be hard pressed to have to do without it. So when people claim that phones are dangerous, just about everyone gets heated up.
Malaysia had over 30.3 million mobile cellular phone subscribers or 106.2% penetration at Q4 2009. The number of wireless broadband subscribers, too, has grown faster than fixed, with their numbers growing from a mere 13.1 thousand in 2006 to 1.084 million at the end of 2009. This number is expected to swell by another 1.2 million by the end of this year.?
