I still remember when U Mobile first launched, it had a commercial that claims that “Pay for only what you use”. The video can be watched over here.
So they promoted the “1 second billing” making people to believe that they are paying less. Apparently, it didn’t work at all.
U Mobile Prepaid is now charging RM0.18 per minute, 30 seconds per block. Not bad pricing but what happened to per second billing?
I’m not interested in writing about this since this company likes to play games and not stick to what they have decided or announced before. You may find out more about the new U Mobile prepaid rates over here.
U Mobile postpaid plans are also charged at per minute basis.
