Alcatel-Lucent boss Ben Verwaayen predicts that video will be the next battleground for telecoms players and it will change the way people communicate in the future.
“The next is video and we better get used to it. We will then have (full) integration of television and telecoms,” he said in an interview with StarBiz.
Voice remained important but for the youth of today, say a 16-year-old, his mode of communications would be via email, Verwaayen said.
