Celcom offers LG Optimus 7

Celcom said that it will offer the LG Optimus 7 starting today.

In conjunction with the introduction of this new Windows Phone 7 device, Celcom is offering a special price of RM777 to the first 150 customers who register online via Celcom’s website (www.celcom.com.my) from 24 November onwards.

The retail price of the LG Optimus 7 is RM2,099, will be available from early December 2010 onwards at selected Blue Cube outlets and Celcom’s Authorised Dealers nationwide.

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 NOVEMBER 2010 – Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad], the country’s most experienced and leading mobile telecommunications service provider, is proud to be the first telco in Malaysia to offer its customers the LG Optimus 7, the latest Windows® Phone 7 device. To celebrate the launch of LG Optimus 7, Celcom has selected and offered to seven of its loyal Windows customers this latest Windows® Phone 7 device from LG, retailing at RM2,099, for FREE! These lucky subscribers are Abdullah Nordin, Azalee Abu Hassan, Dzuraidah Nordin, Saw Leng Ghee, Tan Hock Yee, Tan Teck Meng and Wern Poh Fah.

In conjunction with the introduction of this new Windows® Phone 7 device, Celcom is offering a special price of RM777 to the first 150 customers who register online via Celcom’s website (www.celcom.com.my) from 24 November onwards, after which Celcom personnel will contact these lucky customers informing them of the windfall. Collection of their brand new LG Optimus 7 at ONLY RM777 instead of retail price RM2,099 could be made from early December 2010 onwards at selected Blue Cube outlets and Celcom’s Authorised Dealers nationwide.

To provide its customers first-hand experience of this newest Windows® Phone 7 device from LG, Celcom has also tailored several special packages exclusively for them. Under the Celcom Exec plans catering to the mass market, for a monthly commitment of RM250, customers will save RM1,031 as they get to purchase the phone at only RM1,068 instead of its normal price RM2,099. For Celcom’s corporate clients, the LG Optimus 7 is available from as low as RM1,218 with a monthly commitment of RM148.
