GoMobile Expo 2010 is taking place at KL Convention Centre from 12 November- 14 November 2010.
GoMobile Expo 2010 Highlights!
Phone Museum
GoMobile, Muzium Telekom Malaysia and ordinary Malaysians come together to put a phone museum that will showcase the history of communications. Visitors will be able to see a Morse code machine, old rotary dial telephones, ATUR phones and lots of other mobile phones from years ago. There’ll even be a replica of a London phone booth for visitors to snap photos in.
Talk a walk along GoMobile AppStreet
GoMobile AppStreet has been created in support of the local content industry. Many of those exhibiting here are startups and their participation was made possible through subsidy from MOBIG (Mobile Industry Group is an initiative that promotes local mobile content dvelopment.
A selection of Malaysian mobile developers will be showcasing their latest applications and services. On show will be applications created for the Ipad, iPhone, Android and other mobile platforms.
The GoMobile AppSteet will also be a great place to touch base with mobile developers. Perhaps you have an idea for a mobile app or are looking to get an app developed your business. The mobile developers at the GoMobile AppStreet are the right people to talk to.
GoMobile Activity Room
Another special feature of GoMobile 2010 will be the GoMobile Activity Room. This room is made available for various groups to hold gatherings and talks on mobile related areas.
Among the various exciting happenings taking place at the GoMobile activities room are the following:
- Mobile Fest meetup: A gathering of those who love mobile gadgets. All welcome!
- Social Media Club KL session: the monthly event that brings businesses and people together to share their knowledge and expertise regarding social media. Get details at http://smckl.org.
- An iPad user gathering: Aimed at sharing experiences, tips and tricks. Potential Ipad owners most welcome!
- Lots of other activities and sessions are in the pipeline. Details will be put up at www.gomobile.my and also at the expo venue itself.
