“When you first get the phone, the stuff that’s more obvious makes you smile,“ said Ananth Lazarus, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia. “The features sort of scream out at you. But the other thing that is even deeper for me is the elegance of the experience. Today Microsoft and its partners are delivering a different kind of mobile phone and experience — one that makes everyday tasks faster by getting more done in fewer steps and providing timely information in a ‘glance and go’ format. The availability of Windows Phone 7 starts a new chapter for Microsoft, our partners and of course customers. For Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 represents our long term commitment to making mobile a pillar of our software business. We’ve shown that we have the assets, experience and talent to do things that few others would attempt. For our partners and the industry, we’ve answered the call for a different kind of phone.”
“We are pleased to introduce the redesigned interface to Malaysia with Maxis, to further our common goal of making communications technology a way of enjoyably experiencing the moment.”
“We are excited to be working with Maxis to offer all Maxis end-users something new and completely unique. What makes this so is the integration of our very own HTC Hub which will redefine the way you use your handheld,” added SK Wong, Country Manager of HTC Malaysia. “Our partnership with Maxis has always been one that is built on world-class service on the best devices. Today, we would like to reinforce our working synergy with Maxis with this collaborative introduction of a Windows Phone 7 device to Malaysians.”
