Google Nexus One to get Android 2.3

Google has announced that the Nexus One will be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread in coming weeks.

With the new update, NFC won’t work obviously, but you still have a slight performance boost, better power management and text input improvements to look forward to.

The update roll out will be gradual and probably won’t appear in all regions simultaneously. Not sure when Malaysia gets the update.
