Maxis has launched a new service called Maxis Movies, a mobile app that allows you to buy movie tickets on your smartphone.
The Maxis Movies mobile application allows Maxis customers to check movie show times, read movie synopsis, watch trailers, reserve or purchase movie tickets(including choosing the seats) and more. At the moment, customers can only pay via PayPal and must link their PayPal account to their Maxis mobile number.
Maxis has tied up Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd and TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd for this service.
As part of the launch today, Maxis also launched a “Buy-1, Get-1 Free” promo every Tuesday only for movies that are screened after 6pm. Under this offer, Maxis customers have to purchase their tickets using the Maxis Movies application.
