Maxis today announced the availability of the Google Nexus S in Malaysia.The Android(2.3) Google smartphone is exclusive to Maxis and it is offered to current & new Maxis subscribers.
Maxis postpaid customers will have to sign up for a data plan and purchase the phone with contract. Details below:
- 12 months contract- Buy Nexus S @ RM1799
- 18 months contract- Buy Nexus S @ RM1699
- 24 months contract- Buy Nexus S @ RM1499
Choice of data plan- 500MB at RM58, 1.5GB at RM78 or 3GB at RM88.
The retail price of the Google Nexus S is RM2499 however there are no details about purchasing the phone without contract.
About the Google Nexus S
The new “Gingerbread” OS contains user interface improvements for simplicity and speed. It allows for faster and more intuitive text input as well as one touch word selection and copy or paste functions.
