Celcom has been quietly working on a new social networking project called Kolony which was soft-launched today.
The social networking portal appears to be available in BM only & works via SMS(gateway:25333). For all new registration, Celcom is giving away a free 500 Kolony “Koinz”. The site is open to Celcom subscribers (Postpaid, Xpax, UOX, SOX, Biru Sukses).
I’m not sure when Celcom plans to launch it however an exclusive media briefing is planned next week and Malaysian Wireless is expecting for an invite soon.

P.s: Maxis also launched a social networking portal about a year back called Maxis Connect.
