The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch in Malaysia will delayed to a later date according to Samsung.
In Australia, Samsung has agreed not to sell its 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab tablet until it resolves its patent issues with Apple. According to Apple, the Galaxy Tab specifically violates 10 patents–including the “look and feel” of the iPad, as well as Apple’s touchscreen technology.
It is unknown why the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been delayed in Malaysia. According to Samsung Malaysia on its Facebook page- “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch will be delayed by a couple of weeks. More info will be shared soon”
Insider- It is believed that Samsung Malaysia has notified Celcom regarding the delay. Sources close to Malaysian Wireless said that the new Tab will be launched sometime is September if Samsung gives the green light.
