Celcom Axiata will launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1(WiFi+3G Data only version) in Malaysia tomorrow.
Malaysian Wireless has been able to obtain part of the pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 from Celcom, as per below.
- 12 months contract- RM1528
- 24 months contract- RM1468
- Retail Price- RM1899
The prices with contract above comes with a data plan from Celcom- Broadband Basic(4GB) at RM68, Broadband Advance(8GB) at RM98.
According to Samsung Malaysia on its Facebook page, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be offered for as low as RM99 and up to 300 people gets to purchase it at RM999 only. Details of the roadshow as below.

[Update 1:] I’ve been told that Celcom will be offering a 3G version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but Samsung have blocked the voice feature in the Tab. Users can surf using 3G but can’t make calls.
[Update 2:] Those who are going to be at The Curve this weekend for the the RM99/RM999 Tab will be given a number and don’t have to que. Celcom says that this system is implemented due to “Puasa”. They care!
