U Mobile Sdn Bhd today appointed Cosway (M) Sdn Bhd as its new distribution partner. Via the partnership, U Mobile’s top-ups and prepaid starter packs will be carried in all Cosway 822 stockists nationwide, including East Malaysia.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr. Kaizad Heerjee, Chief Executive Officer of U Mobile Sdn Bhd said, “We’re delighted to partner with Cosway who has an immense network of outlets and a strong membership. This partnership will bring us closer to new and existing customers, and will complement our other non-traditional distribution channels such as Singer, 7-Eleven and LH Sales & Marketing.
As an additional bonus, over 600,000 Cosway members who purchase U Mobile products at Cosway outlets will be entitled to Cosway’s Redemption Coupons (RCs) programme at an exclusive rate. For non U Mobile related purchases, Cosway members need to make purchases of up to RM30 to obtain 1 RC. However, with U Mobile special deal, members only need to purchase the Prepaid starter pack worth RM18 at Cosway to earn 1 RC.
With this partnership, U Mobile now has a distribution channel of more than 22,000 outlets nationwide.
