The latest iPhone 4S from Apple will soon be available in Malaysia. Mobile operators including Celcom, Maxis and DiGi are believed to be making preparation to offer the iPhone 4S sometime end November or by second week of December.
(Maxis launched the iPhone 4 in Malaysia on 24 September 2010)
Sources close to MalaysianWireless believes that the launch of iPhone 4S in Malaysia could take place as early as few weeks after Singapore make available the new device. The target date is most probably 18 or 25 November.
Another source claims that DiGi and Celcom Axiata both have stocks on the iPhone 4 that have to be cleared to make way for the new iPhone. If the iPhone 4S is offered too soon in Malaysia, these operators could be selling the current iPhone 4 models at loss or cost price. The launch date of the iPhone 4S in Malaysia depends on how soon can these operators clear the existing iPhone 4 stocks sitting at their at service centers.

MalaysianWireless believes that the operators would soon offer the iPhone 4 at discounted price to clear all existing iPhone 4 stocks. This could happen early November. Would you still buy an iPhone 4 at a discounted price instead waiting for the iPhone 4S?
