U Mobile has unveiled 3 new new postpaid that offers free data, voice and SMS.
The basic U28 plan cost RM28/month. It offers free 1GB usage of mobile internet and Free 300 SMS to any local mobile numbers. Calls within network are charged RM0.18/min while calls made to outside the network are charged RM0.20/min.
The U58 plan cost RM58/month. It does not offer free SMS so consumers will have to pay RM0.05/SMS within the network and RM0.12/SMS outside the network. However this plan offers free 300 minutes to all operators in Malaysia. It is unknown what are the call charges when customers on this plan exceed the free voice minutes. The U58 plan offers free 2GB usage of mobile internet.
At RM88/month, the U88 plan comes with free 300 minutes & free 300 SMS to all local operators. It is also unknown what are the calls and SMS charges when customers exceed the free usage. This plan comes with a 3GB data quota for mobile internet.
All 3 plans comes with unlimited data, however customer will experience slower speeds once they hit the given data limit.

We wonder why U Mobile published these new plans without full details or FAQ on its website. It is believed that U Mobile wants interested customers to walk in to their service centers to find out more.
We believe these plans comes with a 18-months or 24-months contract.
