U Mobile, who is the main sponsor of a local singing competition called Pop Star 2011, celebrated the top 10 semi-finalists by rewarding them with a Samsung Galaxy Mini and a prepaid starter pack each.
The grand finale of Pop Star 2011 will be held on 13 November, 3pm at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, featuring a versatile line-up of talents and panel judges. The Grand Prize is worth up to RM20,000 and the Champion stands a chance to win a Ford Fiesta.
Members of the public can also show their support for their favourite semi-finalists by votingfor them on Pop Star 2011’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/popstar2011, where the one with most votes will be crowned Most Favourite Singer.
