The Motorola Mobility distributor in Malaysia, Brightstar Corp. will be announcing the all new Motorola RAZR(DROID) next Tuesday.
As you may already know, the new RAZR features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, covered with Gorilla Glass display on a very slim and lightweight Kevlar-infused body, making it the thinnest smartphone in the world at 7.1mm. It also comes with water repellent nanocoating that protects the phone against water spills.
The device is powered by a OMAP 4430 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and 1GB of RAM. Onboard storage is 16GB expandable via a microSD card up to 32GB.
In the UK, the Black-version 16GB Motorola RAZR is sold for as low as RM 2,054 (474.99 EUR) on Amazon. However we have been tipped that the Motorola RAZR will have a RRP price of below RM2k in Malaysia. We believe it will be priced around RM1.9k without contract.
