The Motorola RAZR has a retail price of RM1999 in Malaysia and will be available via distributor Brightstar Malaysia.
As for date of availability, the Motorola RAZR goes on sale this Friday and can be purchased at authorized mobile phone dealers in Malaysia.
The new RAZR from Motorola features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, covered with Gorilla Glass display on a very slim and lightweight Kevlar-infused body, making it the thinnest smartphone in the world at 7.1mm. It also comes with water repellent nanocoating that protects the phone against water spills.
This super slim device is powered by a OMAP 4430 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and 1GB of RAM. Onboard storage is 16GB expandable via a microSD card up to 32GB. More details on Motorola RAZR here.
Our insider story posted last week is accurate, the RAZR is priced less than RM2k although there is a slight different of just RM1. We did say it was gonna be around RM1.9k.
