Motorola Mobility has revealed the successor of the Motorola XOOM tablet today. The company officially announced not one, but two XOOM tablets- the XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition.
The new Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition both feature Android 3.2, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, brilliant displays with Corning Gorilla Glass and initially will be available in Wi-Fi only(No 3G) versions.
Motorola has yet to reveal any details on pricing but both tablet will be available in the UK and Ireland in mid-November. No word yet about availability of the Motorola XOOM 2 in Malaysia.
Motorola XOOM 2
The Motorola XOOM 2 has a 10.1-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass for extra protection. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the XOOM 2 runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb with a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.
The tablet weights 599 grams and comes with splash-guard technology, like the RAZR, for protection against spills from ruining the device.

Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition
The Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition has a 8.2-inch HD screen coated with Corning Gorilla Glass. Just like the XOOM 2, the Media Edition runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb, packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and 5MP camera at the back.
However, unlike the XOOM 2, the Media Edition weighs lighter at 386 grams and is under 9mm thin.
