Its been about 6 weeks since iPhone 4S becomes available, the three US mobile operators(AT&T, Sprint & Verizon) are struggling to keep up with demand for Apple’s fifth smartphone.
According to a report, US customers will have to wait more than 3 weeks for the iPhone 4S which launched in the U.S. and six other countries on October 14.
Verizon customers may have to wait up to 3-weeks for the iPhone 4S compared to 21 days at AT&T and up to 14 days at Sprint Nextel.
“We are having some supply issues in the sense that demand’s huge,” AT&T’s president of emerging devices, Glenn Lurie, said. “We have had just record-breaking sales on it.”
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said last month he expects to set a record for iPhone sales in the current quarter. “We are working hard to get iPhone 4S in customers’ hands as quickly as possible,” Cook told analysts.
Meanwhile, we have reported that Malaysia iPhone 4S launch will take place on December 16. The iPhone 4S will be available via Maxis, Celcom & DiGi.
