Maxis iPhone 4S Device Price:
We said on our Facebook page before that the 3 Telcos will have different Retail Pricing(RRP) for the iPhone4S in Malaysia. Below is Maxis RRP for the iPhone 4S(DiGi’s iPhone 4S RRP for 16GB is different pricing):
- 16GB- RM2190
- 32GB- RM2590
- 64GB- RM2890
As you can see in the image above, Maxis is giving away a free 16GB iPhone 4S if customers sign up for the iValue 4 plan(RM375/month) with a 24-month contract. For the cheapest plan, customers pay RM1450 for the 16GB iPhone 4S and take up the iValue 1 plan(RM100/mth) with a 24-months contract.
For a limited time, Maxis is offering the 32GB iPhone 4S for free if customers sign up for iValue4(RM374/month) with a 24-months contract.
Maxis iPhone 4S Plans:
Maxis has revised their iValue plans compared to what they have offered last year. Some of the new improvements include additional free data on certain plans and free Maxis WiFi in all plans. All current iValue plan customers will be automatically upgraded to the new plan.

iValue 1
This plan has a monthly fee of RM100/month. It comes with a free 333 minutes that be used to call all networks in Malaysia. Maxis is giving free 1GB 3G data and free 4GB data on Maxis WiFi. There are 200 free SMS and 20 MMS for usage within Maxis network. Standard voice calls is charged 15sen/min and SMS is charged at a flat rate of 10sen/sms.
Please note when signing up with the iPhone 4S, a pre-payment is applied for iValue 1. Those who sign up a 12-months contract under this plan pays RM200 upfront, while RM400 is needed upfront for a 24-months contract. Pre-payment will be credited back into customer’s account equally within 1st 5-months.
iValue 2
The iValue has a monthly fee of RM155. It offers 667 free minutes, 3GB data(3G) and 4GB data on Maxis WiFi. The plan allows 400 free SMS within the network and 40 local MMS. Voice is charged 12sen/min and SMS is flat rate at 10sen/sms.
Please note when signing up with the iPhone 4S, a pre-payment is applied for iValue 2. Those who sign up a 12-months contract under this plan pays RM200 upfront, while RM620 is needed upfront for a 24-months contract. Pre-payment will be credited back into customer’s account equally within 1st 5-months.
iValue 3
Customers pay RM250/month for the iValue 3 iPhone 4S postpaid plan. Under this plan, there is 1,500 of free minutes and 5GB Maxis 3G data and 4GB free Maxis WiFi. 600 free SMS and 60 local MMS are allowed within the network. Voice is charged 10sen/min while SMS cost 10sen/sms.
Please note when signing up with the iPhone 4S, a pre-payment is applied for iValue 3. Those who sign up a 12-months contract under this plan pays RM500 upfront, while RM1250 is needed upfront for a 24-months contract. Pre-payment will be credited back into customer’s account equally within 1st 5-months.
iValue 4
The Maxis iValue 4 iPhone 4S plan comes with free 2,500 minutes to all local networks, free 7GB 3G data and free 4GB Maxis WiFi. This plan is charged RM375 /month. A free 800 SMS and 80 MMS is given for Maxis-to-Maxis. Calls are charged 10sen per minute and SMS is charged 10sen/sms.
Please note when signing up with the iPhone 4S, a pre-payment is applied for iValue 4. Those who sign up a 12-months contract under this plan pays RM1,000 upfront, while RM2,000 is needed upfront for a 24-months contract. Pre-payment will be credited back into customer’s account equally within 1st 5-months.
Update 6, Dec 13(1am)- We believe Maxis is now under pressure to release their full iPhone 4S plans(that we revealed above). we expect Maxis website to be updated today, probably during lunch time.
