Malaysia-based Demudahalih Sdn Bhd has launched a free mobile phone and gadget classified marketplace called MudahAlih.my last week. The classified site gained popularity when it pre-launched early December with over 7,000 Facebook fans in just a week. The Facebook fan page now has over 15k “Likes”.
MudahAlih.my allow consumers in Malaysia to buy or sell specifically mobile related items such as used or brand new mobile phones, tablets, mobile accessories, mobile numbers and more.
At the classified page, users can view classifieds in list or gallery view. Besides that, users can search their preferred phone model from the search box and list the ads by price. If users cannot find what they want, they can always post a ‘Wanted’ ad and let sellers find them. For sellers, they can start posting an ad right from the front page.
In a statement, MudahAlih.my said it will soon feature reviews, market price, specifications and picture gallery of mobile phones. Besides that, there will be a mobile web version that let users to view and post ads instantly from the phone. The company is also working on mobile apps for Android, iPhone/iPad and Blackberry platforms.
In conjunction with the launch, MudahAlih.my is running ‘Win X’Mas Gadgets’ contest on its Facebook fan page whereby lucky fans will be picked to win Apple iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Blackberry Bold 9790 or 20 McDonald’s cash vouchers. The contest ends 31st January 2011.
