MyIX (Malaysia Internet Exchange) yesterday announced its revamped website with a new look and feel.
MyIX also known as Persatuan Pengendali Internet Malaysia, is a nonprofit organization initiated by MCMC in September 2006 thru cooperation of local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to connect and exchange local Internet traffic. MyIX is managed by an executive management that comprises elected representatives of local Malaysian ISPs.
In a statement to MalaysianWireless, MyIX Chairman Chiew Kok Hin said “This site has a fresh feel which I think appeals to our growing number of ISP members. This step is taken by MyIX to build better relationship with our existing members by making the site interactive and at the same giving our loyalist members what they have come to expect.”
MyIX currently operates in 5 locations in West Malaysia and 2 locations in East Malaysia with a minimum peering connection speed of 100Mbps:

Currently there are 48 members in MyIX including a number of web companies such as Google Inc and major Internet Services Provider in Malaysia such as TM, Maxis, Celcom, P1, Jaring, Time dotCom and more.
