As for its WiMAX service, P1 said that it plans to increase the number of its base station from 1500 now to 2300 by the end of this year. The WiMAX operator also said that it will roll out its TD-LTE(4G) network in 2013 using the 2.3Ghz and 2.6Ghz spectrum. It will continue to retain its WiMAX network until 2015 while it migrate all its WiMAX customers to LTE. With the upgrade to LTE, P1 could offer wireless speeds from 150Mbps up to 1Gbps.
